I forgot to mention that I need an ordinal measurement so that I can get some material cut to size by a 3rd party.
What I am doing is dampening the reverb in a room to make it more suitable for sound effect recording, since I don't have enough space to setup an iso booth, and don't have a suitable space to which I can have perminant mods made. Previous experiments have shown me that the room I chose (a laundry of all things) doesn't need that much work to dampen the reverb, the biggest source of reflections being the glass door taking up most of one side. The experiment was conducted with a simple blanket, that was a huge pain to setup however, so I am planning to buy some foam that could either be propped against the door, or stand mostly by itself with a couple of clips tied on to the curtain rod above the door.
