Hi,

We have steel inner doors, but I really don't know what the storm doors are
made of; I think it's heavyduty glass or something.
The upper panes can come out, in the spring & summer and be replaced with
screens.
I can't remember the manufacturer, but they were quite expensive to install,
when we first moved in.

I will be interested to hear the answers to this Claudia. may I ask
what your inside door is made of. tell you why. I have all steel
doors 2 of them are called" stanely 9 lite" I think that is correct,
insulated steel doors. but one next to where I set had a paper
attached to it after installation which specifically said" do not use
  storm doors " Lee
