you're right about the gorilla glue for sure. I've found that standing by with a little v scraper was necessary as I didn't know how stain would work on the gorilla (now know it won't penitrate) but most of the squeeze out doesn't soak into the wood either So on hardwoods, you run a blade horizontally and vertically and it peals off in long long strips. Though the clamps may need to be shimmed so they don't mark. thanks
