Hmm, since I am not a big user of lights, maybe I'll have fun and wire each light to be controlled by any number of switches anywhere in the house.
Actually, I've read about a system where the switches aren't connected to the lights at all. The switches all connect to a central digital unit, as well do all the lights, and you can program which switch controls which light. You can even change it on the fly. Would be kind of interesting to throw a randomizing sequence in there so that at any given time a switch could turn on some random light. Anyway, all the electrical questions are just brain food for now. Until I get the basement into even a partially usable state, I don't get to play with other projects. Once the basement is essentially there, I have to start on the kitchen. Later. -- Blue skies. Dan Rossi Carnegie Mellon University. E-Mail: [email protected] Tel: (412) 268-9081
