Max, even though I had some problems I would not be without one. The last one that went flaky was not the unit. I purchased a new pack of batteries at wall-mart. The new battery was not at full power. I thought that the unit went south so purchased a new one. I put the same battery, knowing it was new, in the new unit with the same results. Purchased a new set of batteries and both work fine. Thinking about it I do have one that no longer works will have to send it across the big pond. Years ago I sent one for repair and paid $35 for shipping. When it was returned it came free matter so that is how I will send this one ----- Original Message ----- From: "Max Robinson" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, March 02, 2010 7:30 PM Subject: Re: [BlindHandyMan] talking tape measure
