Lenny, I had trouble with a unit and I got a new 6 pack of batteries and all were bad. I should not say bad, the voltage was to low for it too work. They powered one other item and nothing else. After checking it out with different items and more new batteries, I found out it was the battery connector which was a fraction smaller and the fit was loose, or just to loose to give proper voltage. No more cheap batteries for good tools. Now I buy the more expensive ones regardless of brand. It seems slightly off size get sold for less regardless of brand. ..................bob
