Hi All,

I don't know what you call this, but here is my question.
In our bathroom, we have that fitted molding, around 3 walls of our tub. It's
either made of acrylic or a hard plastic.
I don't recall what it's called, but it's starting to chip. Why would the
previous owners have put something up lie this? Is it because they wanted to
protect the walls underneath, or because they were trying to hide or cover
something up?
These things are very expensive to purchase & install, aren't they?
It's pretty easy to clean, but, as I said, I'm a little worried now because I
think my son is scraping off the acrylic from the walls, and I'm thinking this
could be dangerous!
The molding goes up, to at least 3 quarters from the top of the walls, and it's
got shelves for soap, bars for wash clothes, etc.
