Hi, I all so have an Olympus DS 30 sitting here  by my computer, excellent 
for taking a quick note, are a grocery, are lumber yard/ tool list, grin.
It all so has voice guidance.  In the good quality mode,  ilt can record for 
up to around 18 hours, in a choice of four are five folders, plenty for me 
on an average day, grin.
I am a bif Olympus fan.  Now if you  plan on recording live music, I would 
look at the plex talk pocket, all spoken menues, very friendly.  I agree 
with the other post, the Olympus will clip some recording music.
