James,

It would take you five to 10 minutes to get set up to start receiving money or sending invoices via PayPal.

I don't work for PayPal, but I do create Web sites and some of my clients use it to increase their sales by making it easier for folks to buy what they are offering.

You don't even have to have a Web site to use PayPal. You can email people a PayPal invoice.

Some of my clients use full-fledged internet banking accounts to take credit cards online, but others - including fiddler Art Stamper (www.artstamper.com) and Grand Ole Opry fiddler and guitarist Joe Edwards (www.joeedwards.com) stick with the basic PayPal functions that cost nothing to set up, have no monthly charges or minimums, and charge minimum fees for processing. A $15 CD, for example, costs about 75 cents to process online. Each book you sell via PayPal would cost about 50 cents or so for the processing fee.

PayPal is owned by the same folks who own e-Bay.

Regards,

Ed Gregory

Sorry Chad, I'm not set up for PayPal. I can accept only checks or money orders.
