Not sure if this song you refer to was by the Stanley Brothers, as I heard it performed by another group at a concert in the early 1980's in Cambridge, MA.  Cannot recall all who were in the performing group, or the name of the group, but I am fairly certain it was led by Harley Allen.  (I believe he is a son of Red Allen.)
Not sure of the title, but the first line goes "Pa went to sleep and the hogs ate him, the hogs ate him, the hogs ate him....Now Pa's gone forever....forever....forever. Now Pa's gone forever."     It is a silly song, but amusing.
It is amazing the stuff one can recall with an unexpected trigger....

I don't know if anyone would know, but I am searching for a song for my dad that he says the Stanley Brothers recorded about a man being eaten by pigs. He delights in collecting off-beat bluegrass songs. Anyway, if anyone knows, let me know.

Thanks,
