The song is called He Went To Sleep & the Hogs Ate Him. I don't know if it was ever recorded commercially but I have it on a Ray Davis "Basement Tape" recording from 1963 the CD is called "Radio Series Volume Two" it was also on one of the volumes of Ray's "Plum Pitiful" series of tapes. Time/Life recently issued a condensed one volume version I don't know if it's on there or not.
