Renee,
Here is a link to the place we have decided on:
http://www.smokeymountainwedding.org/w_chapel.htm
This place has more options than a new Chevrolet. So the packages on this
website are pretty vague. My gal oredered extra this, and extra that, and a
bunch of other stuff making it cost twice anything on that page does, but oh
well. The Chapel we are using is located in Pigeon Forge, couldnt tell ya
the exact location, but I can say it took me about 8 minutes to get there
from Bennetts in Pigeon Forge(which is were I called from).
The reception however is at the Park Vista Hotel in Gatlinburg. When I went
down to check things out with my parents, we opted not to go into to
Gatlinburg and check it out. I have an aunt that lives in Rogersville, and
we tried to leave soon to visit her before it got too late. The hotel looks
really nice on the web page. Sure hope it isn't a 2-story hotel, if you
catch my drift.
Then alas, the honeymoon cabins are back at the wedding chapel in Pigeon
Forge. I got to check those out too, and I wasn't disappointed.
Thanks for the tips.
Do you know what nights they have bluegrass out at the Coonhunters? If you
do, or find out, let me know, hopefully i can finaggle around my work
schedule and make it sometime.
I didn't know about the show in lincoln Park til the last minute really.
Wasn't much of a problem with the rap music and all, lol. You know, I lived
in River Rouge for years and was known for having jam sessions in my
driveway on the weekends, sometimes even week nights, sure was a lot of fun.
I also used to enjoy going to the Kentuckians on Sunday afternoons to play,
eat, and listen. That place has changed a great deal, I really dont care
for all the country dance shows they have on friday nights. I don't drink
and I think drinking is pretty much a requiremnet for listening to some of
these local country bands, lol, no offense to them, Its just not my thing.
Anyway, write back soon! God Bless!
Willie
