JChemPaint is pure Java, and > should have no problem with any recent Sun JVM. We can indeed build a Bioclipse version for Solaris (gtk2, sparc). Our biggest problem with this is that we have no way of testing it prior to a release, but if you are interested we could certainly make a Solaris version of Bioclipse available. Bioclipse version 2.0 is in the final stages and should be released within two weeks.
