Greetings, I would like to introduce myself to the group.
My name is Norman Reitzel, my background is varied. I've got BSEE, BSChem, and MSChem. I am currently employed by University of Texas, San Antonio, USA, as what is termed "Instrument Coordinator." Translation: I am the resident consultant on our NMR and ESR resources, and second in line for IR and UV/Vis spectrometers. I maintain the equipment and try to fend off Destructive Users. Prior to this part of my life, I was a design engineer for computer and controller hardware and it's associated software, from well before the PC era until about 15 years ago. I did extensive consulting work for microcontroller hardware, including writing C compiler suites for several popular series. I contribute to several open source projects. Lately, I've been editing articles in Wikipedia chemistry area, especially with respect to industrial processes. I'm looking for a MOL/SDF tool that I can compile/run/fix on *nix, specifically linux but I also am coerced to support Solaris platforms. If there is any way I can be of help, any suggestions are welcome. -- Norm Reitzel Research Instrument Coordinator University of Texas at San Antonio One UTSA Circle San Antonio, Tx 78249 mailto:[email protected] ph: 210-458-7081 cell: 210-410-2142 AIM: ChemNorm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San Francisco, CA -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the Enterprise -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source participation -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source code: SFAD http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H _______________________________________________ Blueobelisk-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/blueobelisk-discuss
