Is there anything in particular you would like to learn more about? > secondly I left the open manufacturing list in the CC:. I have no idea > why it is there or what that list is about. I replied to both blueobelisk-discuss and openmanufacturing, since the topic of pov2svg is somewhat on-topic. > Bryan Bishop wrote: >> On Mon, Aug 3, 2009 at 6:25 AM, Michael Kirchner wrote: >>> I am looking for a way to produce a 2D vector image from 3D data (like >>> pov-(ray)-File). >> >> Sorry, I am not aware of anything that can do this. Is this the link you wanted to give? No, my mistake. Let me dig up another link. pov2rib can be found here: http://adl.serveftp.org/lab/legos/pov2rib-1.0.tar.gz >> Converting this into a parser, either through antlr, or maybe >> pyparsing, would be exceptionally awesome. Do you think this is > easy? Or difficult? I have never done something like this before, so this is a new trick for me, and at the moment it seems somewhat peculiar and difficult. It is no walk in the park, and will take at least a week of a programmer's time, time that I don't have to devote to this project at the moment. Maybe there are some other comp-sci gurus around these parts that would be able to do this on a whim and significantly reduce development time, however? - Bryan http://heybryan.org/ 1 512 203 0507 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
