My apologies for the system... it is not my code, and a complex code base too. I have no time rewriting bits :( The system has particularly problems with no-longer-existing blogs, and XML errors in posts... it sometimes needs some manual attention. And with ~40 unique visitors a day, advertisement or whatever does not provide enough funding to take this to the next level either. For now, the system is OK, but it could very much need some involvement from others. Anyone who wants to contribute?
