Why wasted? I sure need it for big MySQL buffers and 200mb per httpd processes... Depends on what type of sites one is hosting I would say.

Is there a max spec for Blueonyx? Any special drivers required? The 16GB RAM will likely be wasted on a BlueOnyx hosting device. In our production hosting farm, we're running dual-core 3.4Ghz machines (4MB cache), dual 1TB's (HW RAID1) and 4GB RAM. Our boxes average around 4Mbps throughout the day with 150-200 domains on them and don't break a sweat. -- Chris Gebhardt VIRTBIZ Internet Services Access, Web Hosting, Colocation, Dedicated www.virtbiz.com | toll-free (866) 4 VIRTBIZ _______________________________________________ Blueonyx mailing list [email protected] http://www.blueonyx.it/mailman/listinfo/blueonyx _______________________________________________ Blueonyx mailing list [email protected] http://www.blueonyx.it/mailman/listinfo/blueonyx
