The Govt instead of acting against DOW is doing all it can to facilitate Dow's investments in India. Dow is a notorious company, and is one of the most polluting chemical companies in the world. Yet, the Govt of Maharastra has given it permission to set up a plant in Ranjangaon near Pune, and now more terrible, Dow has been allowed to set up a research centre in Pune. Despite the fact that this centre was refused permission in USA and Europe!
