You'll need to find a hub; most places will tell there is no application for your car. I simply said I wanted a hub for a pre-airbag ('87) 6 series. You *may* be able to use a hub for an '87 E28, but please don't take my word for it. The next hurdle was the Momo wheel was too close to the turn signal and cruise control stalks when installed. I know of one gentleman who carefully bent the stalks to obtain sufficient clearance. I chose to solve this dilemma by getting a anodized aluminum 1 1/4" hub spacer, produced by a local company here in the SF Bay area, but available cheaper at OG Racing (www.ogracing.com). It's a very nice piece and fits perfectly. And the last thing, Momo hub was shallower than the factory, so I needed to use washers to allow the steering wheel nut to tighten. I think I got a little over excited when I got involved in this issue because of my infactuation with BMW's and am sorry if I offended anyone. After all the info and stats I read on these two cars in the past few days, I have to admit that I was wrong with a few things although I would still drive around the M5 (although you can't lose either way) I think BMW has truly mastered the art of designing a sports sedan, and the Viper is a beast on the track. When tryi ng to compare these two cars you have to look at them in totally different ways. All in all these two cars are the best in each of their classes. One screw is for adjustment, the other is for lens removal. Figure out which is the right one... Sounds like the auto-sense lead on the antenna is hooked up to the ignition power instead of the power out led on the radio. Check the connection on the antenna first. There are three leads, one is ground, 12+ always on, and a auto sense lead which should only have power when the radio is on. Check the connection also on the back of the radio, many connect both the antenna lead and the power together.
