Indeed never seen air, until last year when I spun on some sleet, and hit a curb damaging one of my rear wheels. THAT's when I found out the spare had NEVER been removed from the car. Even then I still have the tire. The car will be six years this October. Zach '94 325i (build date 07/94) 5-spd. It's BAMXF in the US, and I'm not sure where it trades (OTC, ADR?). But I called up Ameritrade "special services" (do they drive armored Suburbans?) and they hooked me up. I'm sure other brokerages would be able to do likewise if anyone else is interested... This is the Internet, it ain't real life. Donn wasn't attacking Chris personally, rather making an observation based on the information available. Chris, I know you have foresight, and I know you have a lot of money ;-). [BTW, thanks again for hangin' out at the auto show] I also know that you have a kind heart and are probably thinking about the loss of your relationship and perhaps the issue of the car is a sour reminder. I really don't think Donn intended it as a dig. I think Donn made an observation and I can't say I wouldn't have made the same one (based on information available). Donn, Chris, let's get together for some beers and if yall find you don't like each other, you can beat the crap out of each other. Beers are on me. - - Chip __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo! Dealer just installed O2 sensor number 5. This time they removed the exhaust system and stood it on end to dump out an estimated two quarts of accumulated water. Hello! They also drilled a small hole in the muffler to facilitate drainage. Dealer also noted some mufflers come straight from the factory with drainage holes already in them, but unfortunately not BMW. Bottom line, it looks like the constant short trips (less than 1 mile to my office) not allowing the car to warm up was the culprit in generating so much condensation. I lost the original messages so I'm not able to properly thank people by name, but kudos to the two gentlemen who wrote to me with their suggestion to check for excess water as the culprit devouring my oxygen sensors! __________end Cod Capt Chris Darling HQ AMC/CEOP DSN 576-5930, Comm (618)256-5930 ------------------------------ End of [uucdigest] V3 #333 ************************** _________________________________________ | Please visit these UUC-approved BMW parts vendors/service providers: | (listed alphabetically) | Bonneville Motorwerks . http://www.bonnevillemotorwerks.com | Circle Tire Co.
