I dunno, made one based on Jack Money's plans ( I think) and total cost was
about $15 ... YMMV. Used a garden sprayer, GM reservoir cap and some tubing
... no problems. Email me privately if you have questions and I'll try and
dig up the info.

Subject: [uuc] Pressure bleeder question

I see in teh latest Bav Auto mag a pressure bleeder, made of plastic,
using a hand pump (not unlike the pump on a home garden pesticide
sprayer) rather than an air line inlet to provide pressure.

Anyone know anything about these? Are they worth the $39.95?

I used Performance Frictions pads on my previous car, a VW GTi VR6, 2 years
ago when I was going to driver's schools quite regularly. They were only
slightly less dusty and their fade resistance was slightly better too. Then
again, that car was notorious for front brake fade problems. They were also
really noisy if not enough 'goop' was applied to the back when installing.

Hope this helps,

Eugene

I have seen this bleeder advertised and it looks just like the one I
built from Jim P's web site. It works great. I use a lower pressure than
Jim recommends, though.
