Steven, As far as I can tell, it's the same report. I paid the $15 to get the "official" version last week when I was looking at my 325is (well, O.K., my wife did, but that was because I lost my credit card...no, really, I did), and it seems to be the same as the one that I got tonight. My guess is that it is a temporary thing, underwritten (i.e., sponsored) by Carfax, and KUSA TV, similar to the FOX TV sponsored go-'round a month or so ago. The difference is this one even had the graphics that the "official" version has, unlike the FOX go-'round. - -- Do Svedanya! So, y'all remember that I bought the 325is for which I begged advice last week, right? (thanks again!) Well, I financed it via my credit union, so they were supposed to get the title. But...... Dale, the dealer mailed the title to me personally, instead, along with the OD disclosure, etc., and I got the PO's name, and selling price. Dale told me that he paid "too much" for it, and therefore could not come down on the price. I thought that he was tossing the standard dealer fluff at me, but the selling price (to Dale) on the title is $4800. I signed on the dotted line for $5300. There is the possibility that the price was fudged, but that is usually done (not by ME, of course) to lower the price for tax reasons, but 1) he is a dealer, and didn't pay sales tax, and 2) he pays inventory tax, and would want the price to appear lower that it is, not higher. That means that I paid $500 more than he did, and he had $200 of work done on it.... Am I missing something here? - -- Do Svedanya!
