That will give the tires a nice satin finish instead of that awful "wet look." That should keep them looking good for a while. Anything else I should note? Random thoughts: Traction control was added in 96. It's useful if you live in snow and ice country, more or less dormant otherwise. The only difference of note between the 96 and later cars is the minor appearance redesign of the BMW kidney grilles in 97. The staggered wheel and tire sizes starting in 96 are a PITA. 96 was a short production year, so there aren't too many of them around. Having owned both the early 2 knob and later digital HVAC systems, I much prefer the latter. The 3.0 engine is somewhat smoother and more revvable, but the 3.2 has more torque and is easier to drive around town.
