Rather than buying wheels from a business, try looking for another BMW owner who's selling their 16s after an upgrade to 17s or 18s. I picked up a set of 16x7 with new tires last year for $800. Solicit for wheels on this digest or take a look at the classifieds at www.bimmer.org I don't have any direct experience with Mille Miglia, but with genuine BMW wheels, you know they'll fit your car properly. I think he liked the ability to slide the car at any given time. he's rather big on oversteer you see... Remind me to never listen to anyone on bimmer.org ;-P BTW quite a few people with E30s look at my center console and do a double take wondering what the extra switches are. Mine has the squiggly lined butt heat switches, the window switches and the circuit breaker all on the ctr console. Are you sure the wires were not simply the seat belt sensor wires (to determine if your belt is latched)? Were they transplanted into the car?? Agreed. They are far better than any seat BMW has provided since. Especially those crappy "sport" (NOT) E36 325is seats. He didn't have my wheel choice in stock at the time I called, but had it to me 2 weeks later. The wheels show up in REALLY nice shape and well-packaged. A local guy that I used to mount tires on the wheels was so impressed, he bought some for his 635CSi. I have heard, however, of other second-hand accounts of transactions that didn't go so well. YMMV. For me, everything went great. I had to re-calibrate my brain, and now I can properly imagine which way the threads are being pulled. I would give my left nut to have better visualization skills. I must have had a screw loose. Well, guess I'll be going into the garage to remove both of my nuts and replace them with one with some plastic in it. Just don't tell anyone about my bolt being all stretched out. Good luck! They are $40/piece and the seat needs 4 of them, but you can get away with just two. Also, try compressing them to get them in place. You'll have to rig some something for that.
