It uses single band antenna's on analogue equipped cars. Neil is correct in that you may not need to change the antenna of a BMW if you upgrade it from analogue to digital. BMW simply plays the field, in that they offer owners the choice of providers, hence, install antenna's that work with any given provider. Dual band. Always use aluminum anti-seize when installing rear shock mounts. Lesson number 2. Unless you have double adjustables, with the adjusting tab sticking out the top of the shock shaft, you can place the assembly in a vice, so that the mount is resting on the vice, but the shaft is not touched, and beat the hell out of it. If you're accurate with the hammer, you won't damage the shock. When your friend started the car up again the sensor readings were within acceptable parameters. If it happens often, take it and have the TCM put on the computer. Remember a dealership will only replace the trans, they do not repair. I went through hell trying to get my auto trans fixed and after taking it to two dealers and an import trans shop, all to no avail, found out the computer cable to the TCM was only loose. Again, to prove his case the officer was exaggerating, you point out the flaws of a man being able to run after a car going around a corner traveling at 30MPH and seeing running some stop signs. How do you know he did not fear for his life? Or his child's? When you come to a traffic light, cruising the speed limit and it turns out to be defective by changing way to rapidly from green to red, do you slam on your brakes as to avoid breaking the law and causing a few cars to rear end you? Or do you break the law to go through the light? I was just trying to help someone out that may have never gone to court and what to expect. Some people can not explain the situation they were in.
