A few errors have crept into http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/changeset/18390

I used to do this sort of data checking for commercial software, so the
following list is exhaustive: the first few are important, but they get
increasingly trivial as we go down the list.

I have taken all data from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-2,
the source cited by famfamfam, so that the flag assignments should match.

Israel, West Bank, and the Gaza Strip have all been coded 'IL'. The West
Bank may be disputed, but the Gaza Strip coding would certainly be regarded
as offensive. Code 'PS' is available for the "Palestinian Territory,
Occupied"..

"Congo, Republic of the" should be coded 'CG' (distinct from "Congo,
Democratic Republic of the", CD)

"Tonga" should be coded 'TO' (distinct from "Togo", TG)

The only available flag code for Taiwan is 'TW' (strictly "Taiwan, Province
of China", but that might also be disputed). Current 'TY' is undefined.

famfamfam has no image for 'IM', "Isle of Man". I suppose you could use
'GB', but that wouldn't be ideal: but if you don't, the 93 or so users on
the Isle of Man and the 581 (??!!) in Antarctica ('AQ') will be the only
ones not represented by a flag - except for.....

....."International". Shame famfamfam doesn't have a UN flag.

I'm glad to see that you have unilaterally ceded the whole of the "Virgin
Islands" to Britain ('VG') :-)

The folloing ISO flag countries have not yet been recognised by BOINC:

AX Åland Islands
BV Bouvet Island
CC Cocos (Keeling) Islands
CX Christmas Island
GS South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands
HM Heard Island and McDonald Islands
IO British Indian Ocean Territory
NF Norfolk Island
SH Saint Helena
SJ Svalbard and Jan Mayen
TF French Southern Territories
UM United States Minor Outlying Islands
VI Virgin Islands, U.S.
YT Mayotte
