Richard, It was I "hand-wrote-out" the two letter code for each country. I tried to cross reference the country codes from the official iso 3166-2 codes. The countries listed in the boinc code seem to be unique, they don't match the iso list of codes, they were taken from some CIA website. In the boinc list countries, there are countries listed that are not officially listed by iso or the international community.
I did my best, but yes, you are correct in all the corrections you suggested. I searched the iso 3166-2 codes for words like "Gaza" and "Virgin" and when there was no country listed containing the word, i guessed! Yes, i possibly made errors in my dicisions about world political borders. If any flags are needed, i can make identical flags for any country that match the famfamfam flags. I have the image template made! The UN Flag; http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n46/john502/un-1.png http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n46/john502/un.gif John.
