oglft seemed like a "dead" project (i.e. version 0.9, and last updated in 2003)
vs ftgl is pretty recent (within a year old updates). So that scared me away.
I used ftgl for the Intel PTP screensaver and it worked out OK esp with all
the
rotating circular fonts etc. but I don't think it's necessary for boinc to
change as we can get texfont gpl'd it seems, i.e. it's just licensing bullshit
for a demo app, and projects can use whatever they want anyway, oglft, ftgl etc.
