The original reason for splitting them is that they have different posting rules. Anyone can post to the help desk as you might need help getting started.

I like it. If you can put the Message Boards and Questions and Answers all on one page, that would be much better. Otherwise it's difficult for new users to navigate and find the most suitable place to post. (Personally I think that the entire BOINC forums should be on one page by default so that project admins don't have to join the two parts up.) I see that whether I choose German, Spanish, French, Dutch or Catalan as my language, considerable parts of the BOINC website and forums remain in English. Some of these languages have for a long time had very assiduous translators. Does anyone know what the problem is?
