The code to get CPU temperature on Apple Macintosh Intel computers has been in
client/hostinfo_unix.cpp for some time. It is called int
get_max_cpu_temperature().
// Check up to 10 die temperatures (TC0D, TC1D, etc.) and
// 10 heatsink temperatures (TCAH, TCBH, etc.)
// Returns the highest current CPU temperature as degrees Celsius.
// Returns zero if it fails (or on a PowerPC Mac).

I know it used to work, though I haven't tested it recently.
