Chelsea and manager Jose Mourinho have been fined a total of �548,000
this season for disciplinary excesses. In all Chelsea personnel have
been found guilty of nine separate charges by the Football Association,
Premier League and UEFA. The Premiership Champions have also been
reported to FIFA.
� Jose Mourinho fined by FA �15,000 for comments made after Carling Cup
semi-final first-leg against Manchester United.
� Chelsea fined �15,000 by FA for failing to ensure their players
conducted themselves in an orderly fashion at Blackburn.
� Mourinho reminded of his responsibilities by FA after being sent from
the technical area during the Carling Cup final against Liverpool.
� Chelsea fined �33,000 by UEFA after Mourinho's accusations regarding
Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard and referee Anders Frisk. Mourinho given
a two-game touchline ban.
� Manchester United and Norwegian club Lyn Oslo have lodged a complaint
with FIFA over Chelsea's persuit of Nigerian teenager John Mikel Obi.
United announced the transfer of Obi who later complained he was
"forced" by "some people" to sign the contract.
� Chelsea fined �300,000 and given a three-point suspended reduction
after being found guilty in the Ashley Cole "tapping up" case. Mourinho
fined �200,000.
