I just changed ~539 in commands.php from

        $type = substr(strrchr($filename, "."), 1);

to

        if (strpos($filename, '.') === false) BOLTabort('upload_no_type');
        $type = substr(strrchr($filename, '.'), 1);

And then added the message "No upload type specified." This does mean
it will be impossible to upload files without an extension in the
name.  Any thoughts on this anyone?

Also let me know if you spot any other $1 messages, so they can be
fixed as well.
