Here is the general way something like this is supposed to be done: 1) Go to page site.index and open it for editing.
2) Edit the line that looks like the one below to generate a proper list of just the pages you want indexed, ie: [session search "fmt=list output=escape exclude=site.presence,site.cron*"] to [session search "fmt=list output=escape exclude=site.presence,site.cron* group=mypages*"] Then save. 3) Now click the button that says reindex the site. This should create a long list of all the 5000 pages you have created, and prepare them for indexing. I think it may also index the first 50 or so pages. Not sure exactly. 4) Finally, keep refreshing the page until all the pages are reindexed. 5) You may want to change the line you edited back in case you ever need to reindex the entire site. And you forget what line to change. Follow this approach whenever there are a number of pages to index in some group. There's probably other ways to do this, but I guess you might as well try doing it the normal way first. :) If your site can handle it, increase the indexBatch size to 100 or more, in site.config.
