I'm really irritated at meetups.com now. We had a successful meetup recently for the
first time with 4 people showing up and lots of good conversation and book exchanges.
But then this month, my meetup was hijacked. Meetup.com has appointed some type of
meetup coordinator who chooses the venue with no voting and moved my meetup to another
city entirely. I was so irritated that I unsubscribed, but did ask to be notified if
they start up a meetup In My City. Was anybody else hijacked?

Where are you located? We were choosing to have ours
at Barnes and Noble and one time Borders Books was
voted.
