Those were Ebooks. Not regular books. And yes, I checked out the link. I looked at all the things that were being bought, not just books.
Everyone participates in BX'ing in the manner and to the degree that they wish. We're not talking about books that get lost for awhile. We're talking about books that simply *poof* and are never heard from again. I had one that happened to recently. It was a book from my TBR pile and there was no mistake that I expected the book to return. I haven't read it yet. It was lost with the very first person on the list. I know it's just a book. But it went out with an understanding. There is a thread in the forums regarding this very thing and I don't know how many pages of posts regarding losts rings and rays. The same people came up over and over. Shouldn't people be aware of this when forming a ring? Shouldn't they have the option of refusing someone? We have that option with everything else. WW was PM'ing people in secret for RABCK's and for trades. And asking that it not be made public. Shouldn't Newbies at least have *some* warning? In a community this large there are going to be all kinds of people. The ones that can't 'play nice' shouldn't be allowed to ruin it for others. Real life, actions carry consequences, good and bad.
