The Outsiders was one of my favorite books when I was younger. I actually saved that and a few other SE Hinton books figuring one day I would have kids who would enjoy it. Now I do and I recently passed it on to my 12 year old daughter. Maybe someday she'll actually open it-LOL!
I started reading The Heart is a Lonely Hunter a few months ago and while it's ok and I know I will finish it eventually, it isn't my usual style so I keep putting it down, for weeks at a time. I've read several other books in between. Normally if I don't like a book I will give it a few chapters before it goes into the "pass it on" pile. reading gone wild http://bookcrossing.com/referral/penguinlady930 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
