I know this isn't BookCrossing related but is anyone else here from NY or nearby...did you see The Gates at Central Park? I went for the second time this afternoon, it was really beautiful in the snow. Last week I saw them from the roof of the Metropolitan Museum of Art but I wasn't very impressed with the view from there...it was a lot nicer to walk under and through them. Curious as to what others thought of them and also if this got much publicity around the country or elsewhere. Has anyone seen any of Christo and Jeanne-Claude's previous works?
