Whoa!!!! I really do appreciate the fact that you did not use my name, thank
you, but I need to clear this up... I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT SEND THAT E-MAIL!!!
First of all, I wasn't even on my computer yesterday, I worked a 14 hour
day, came home and went to bed. When I just read what happened I was blown
away! I have no idea how that happened but be certain that it wasn't from me,
my computer has up to the minute virus protection, etc...perhaps someone or
something is messing with our group. I just find it strange that Freya would
get a weird message sent to her the same week as Sheila.

I can tell you this...my family has a Yahoo group of its own and last year
those of us in the group all started receiving e-mails, supposedly from each
other, that had viruses attached. Problem was, none of us were sending them!
Since none of us are particularly knowledgeable about how or why these things
happen, we wound up temporarily shutting down our group, we unsubscribed
everyone but the owner, waited a few weeks, then signed everyone back in again.
 No problem since then.

I'm not sure what to tell everyone...If I have to send any of you messages I
will do so through PM's and as far as this group goes, my messages here would
never have attachments. I would recommend everyone just be extra careful and
continue to let the group know when these things happen so we can keep track of
them.

  Subject: [BookCrossing] bookcrosser's e-mail

Just wanted to let you know so you can beware. I received a e-mail that has a
virus attached from another bookcrosser. I caught it early and if it's sent to
you I hope that you catch it early too.

I have yahoo and when I seen the e-mail I opened the mail but had it scanned
first. And that's when it came up it was a virus. Mail was from gmail and I
reconized the name that is why I opened it. It wasn't through bookcrossing as
in a pm. I sent this person an e-mail asking not to send anymore. And I'm
hoping it's not on purpose.

Did anyone else get this or am I the only one?

  Sheila
