I have obviously missed something in a previous
message, but I'll weigh in anyway.

Why would there be a need to delete the book from
BookCrossing?  Even if you are trading it through
another method that doesn't mean it can't be in both. 
I've known of BC books being traded through Paperback
Swap and still being journaled on their travels.  And
I have no problem with someone putting books they've
gotten from me up on other sites to trade.  The more a
book travels the better I like it. (OK, I'm not
talking library books here.)  I'm thinking that making
a habit of deleting books could mess something up.
