I agree with Weebly that Freecycle is a good place to get some books. I always check the Salvation Army (you can probably find one near you, or a similar type thrift store).The libraries near me have an annual book sale every year. Also don't forget the Church sales or similar function, they usually sell books very cheaply. :)
