Let me add another comment. One potential problem with deleting the znode is in
the case that we have two bookies with the same identity. I'm assuming that
independent of the identification scheme we use, the administrator will be
careful not to let it happen. Having two bookies with the same identity could
cause inconsistencies in the state of a ledger. Is it ok to assume that there
won't be two bookies with the same identity up?
