Thanks for the comments. I haven't followed the discussions in here
so this is very valuable information for me. Enabling CHM generation
is apparently straightforward. That said, the XSL stylesheets seem
a bit outdated. Anyhow, I think I've managed to build a CHM file,
which works for fine for boostbook content.

If I find enough folks willing to give some feedback and have some time
on my hands, I'd like to work on it.

Thanks, I personally often end up creating something that's already
covered by Boost, because some of my customers are a bit
scared by Boost. I believe, providing a more familiar
distribution/environment would significantly improve the situation.
One point is the documentation and its integration with the
development environment.
