Interesting--I called Verizon in Sept. after mediaone refused to predict when they would unblock port 80, and Verizon claimed that their business service was not blocked although they acknowledged that the residential service was. I finally went with Speakeasy, though, which, as others have noted, is static ip and not blocked on port 80--but became flooded with Nimda scans during Oct. and Nov. It's improving now, tho.
Dynu looks good. I've also had very good luck with zoneedit. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Drew Taylor" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Mikey Deruki" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, November 28, 2001 9:25 AM Subject: Re: [Boston.pm] OT: Linksys router issues Glad it worked out for you. As an aside, at my last job in Waltham they had business class DSL from Verizon, and even for that service level they had port 80 blocked! It was worth it though because the DL speed was around 5Mb. :-) At 01:45 PM 11/28/2001 +0000, Mikey Deruki wrote: >Just to update everyone.
