This isn't a suprise given a conversation I just had with a collaborator from MIT on this subject ($$). I started asking around my dept. at MGH, which is affiliated with Harvard, for contacts that may be able to help with this as well, and I'll try BU next week - if anyone has names to suggest approaching please let me know. Northeastern has been mentioned in the past, and someone recomended Brandise yesterday. Does _anybody_ have an idea how much money we may need to come up with to entice a host? How much funding is YAPC capable of providing (and thereby, how much corporate help do we need?). Could someone cc this to the yapc plan list please? I can't seem to find the email addy.
