One then walks on the bike path, through Russell Field to Alewife.

Thanks for the offer, but I was trying to avoid the 30+ minutes (wait + ride + walk) that a hop on the T will add.

Doesn't Alewife have its own sizable lot, and given that it is a T lot, probably reasonably priced?

Looks like they outsource management of the lot. Not that reasonable for a couple of hours, but probably still cheaper than pay lots within walking distance of the talk. I don't mind paying for parking, as long as it is reasonable.

Less than 1% availability doesn't sound encouraging, either, but by 3:30 ~ 4:30 PM it ought to have some spaces freed up.

Here's a map to the Harvard location:

There is a tiny, public lot across the river on Soldiers Field Road, but it's probably a 20 minute walk to the Science Center.

It's sounding like the MIT venue is going to be the best bet, parking wise.

In other matters, shouldn't the info on these talks get forwarded to boston.pm-announce? I'll pass on the info to BLU and BBLISA today, while I remember...
