It's been almost a decade for me, but I liked The Java Programming Language by James Gosling and Ken Arnold. It was of nearly equal quality to the similarly titled C and C++ texts by those languages' creators. The fourth edition seems to weigh in at 500 some pages now, which is longer than the edition I have, but not horrible. -- Mike Small [email protected] _______________________________________________ Boston-pm mailing list [email protected] http://mail.pm.org/mailman/listinfo/boston-pm
