How universally supported is PERL_MM_OPT? I'm finding that there are
enough inconsistencies in using INSTALL_BASE instead of PREFIX, as
module and MM versions vary.
The answer is it doesn't you have to set PERL5LIB manually, as you
would without the module. But now it's cut and paste instead of think
and type :-P
Seems like the module author went to a lot of effort for a rather
marginal benefit.
