As I mentioned on Tuesday night Umass Lowell has recently acquired a conference facility. http://www.acc-umlinnandconferencecenter.com/meetings/index.cfm I sent them an email asking of they had the facilities to host a yapc. I used the rough specs given by Uri(meeting space for ~500 people) and the response was that, yes, they had the facilities. There are rooms available... "236 guestrooms, most having two double beds" those are just the onsite accommodations, certainly there are more rooms to be had within the city itself. I'd say that Lowell fits in well with Pittsburgh, PA and Columbus, OH(other yapc cities) in that it is an affordable city with a certain amount of post-industrial charm. :) _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail: Powerful Free email with security by Microsoft. http://clk.atdmt.com/GBL/go/196390710/direct/01/ _______________________________________________ Boston-pm mailing list [email protected] http://mail.pm.org/mailman/listinfo/boston-pm
