OK, I realize there is new hardware, I just didn't understand it was
required to play the Windows media format files and the streaming audio. I
didn't have the specs for my version, so have no idea how far behind similar
devices its processor is, for instance. But as for playing various media
files, isn't that pretty much a software matter after a point we've more
than reached?
