ain't necessarily your own. It seems logical to both me and to you to
put all volume adjustments in the same place, but that's like asking
why the couscous is under International foods instead of in the rice
aisle where it belongs. I mean couscous isn't international is it?

As for the reasons behind Humanware's development of the MP3 player
and its commands, I wouldn't presume to know why they did what they
did. Your explanation may indeed be the right one.
